• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, Social Security Number (for credit report retrieval)
• Financial information: Student loan details, income, family size, filing status, employment information
• Documents: Files you upload to the portal (loan statements, tax documents, identification)
• Communications: Messages you send through the portal or to our support team

Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage data: Features accessed, pages viewed, actions taken within the Product
• Log data: IP address, browser type, access times, referring URLs

Information from Third Parties

• Credit reports: Tri-merged credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion obtained with your authorization
• Authentication data: Information from our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign in via Google, Apple, or email

• To share information with Consumer Financial Services Firms ("CFSFs") you have authorized, such as Hope Credit and Headway Credit

3. Information Sharing

We share your information in the following circumstances:

• Consumer Financial Services Firms (CFSFs): With your authorization, we share your information and credit reports with CFSFs you work with through the portal. You may revoke CFSF access to your credit reports by notifying us in writing.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for authentication (Clerk), payment processing, credit report retrieval, and hosting infrastructure.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Product. If you terminate your account, we will retain your information only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
